Who Are We

Since 2017 The Murray River Watersports has been committed to providing Waterski and Wakeboard instruction in the Mulwala Area

Our Story

Maritime law is tricky and over the years - it has become increasingly difficult and now impossible to get a waterskiing boat to meet the standards of commercial registration - but thats because commercial policys deal with far bigger boats. The impact on waterskiing is that Waterski Schools can no longer operate as a commercial entity. So the Murray River Watersports Association was born. A group of individuals who thought it wasnt right to stop the education and safety practices taught through ski schools. A non for profit organisation who’s sole responsibility to its members was to teach them to waterskiing.

“Our family has come to Yarrawonga for years and we love our kids learning to ski. The Murray River Watersports Association has enabled my whole family to enjoy time together and we can now all wakeboard”

— Wal Nason
